This course introduces students to advanced architectural design concepts. Emphasis is placed on the use of CAD tools in the design and execution of site and foundation plans as well as topographical information and detail drawings of stairs and wall sections. Teaming and problem-solving skills are reinforced in this course. Workbased learning strategies appropriate for this course are apprenticeship, internship, and cooperative education. Hands-on work experiences & activities provide many opportunities to enhance classroom instruction and career development.
